Timothy J. Schwach, OD

Education:

Dr. Schwach graduated from the Erie Community College in 1980 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Ophthalmic Dispensing. He completed his undergraduate studies at Erie Community College and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Schwach earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan. Dr. Schwach completed his Externship program at Health Care Plan of Western New York.

Personal Information:

Dr. Schwach is a past Adjunct Clinical Professor for the SUNY College of Optometry at Health Care Plan. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association, and the Western New York Society of Optometrists. Dr. Schwach is a past President of the WNYSO. He currently serves as Western New York liaison for the SUNY College of Optometry. Dr. Schwach has lectured to his Western New York colleagues on the health advantages of new contact lens materials and their use in clinical practice.

Dr. Schwach lives in Lancaster with his high school sweetheart and wife, Charlene.  They have three children- daughter Amanda, and sons Daniel and Kevin.
